PROBLEM!!! Accidently registered for sunday testing!

It says my religion has to prevent me from taking it on saturday. I did not know this. I feel bad for signing up for the sunday test date, but at the same time I do not have an extra $20 to change my test date. Do they want any type of proof that I cannot take it for relgious reasons on saturday, or is that for standyby’s only? I feel totally bad right now, but I can’t afford to spend another $20. College applications cost enough as it is. Thanks.

call the CB and tell them you made a mistake, clicked the wrong button, whatever. or just say you meant to register for saturday but your registry report says sunday. maybe they’ll be sympathetic. $20 in the grand scheme of things isn’t a killer, tho. college is a lot more expensive!!

I already paid a late fee to sign up. I got no money. How am I supposed to find an extra $20. :frowning: I already spent like 400 on apps.

Do I need a note if I am already signed up for that test date, or is that only for those who are going to standby that day.

wait what is wrong with sunday testing?

im happy i have it but technically it must be due to religious reasons. I am hoping they dont need proof. I didn’t know about this. Who would want to pay $20 to change the date, if you already had to pay the late fee. :(

Wow, calm down. It looks like you only need proof if you are trying to test standby. And I doubt they would charge you for a test date change if they’re the ones making you change. I don’t think switching from Sunday to Saturday counts as a test date change, anyway. If you’re so worried, why don’t you just [call them](<a href=“ACT Registration | ACT Testing Dates | The ACT Test”>ACT Registration | ACT Testing Dates | The ACT Test)?

Heh sorry. I’d love to call them but AT&T is fixing phone lines in the neighborhood here.

Then just try to take a deep breath and call them on Monday. It’ll be okay, and you won’t have to pay another $20.

I hope I don’t have to reschedule it. I love the fact of taking it on sunday. Saturdays I always have plenty to do or my dad works.

You cannot sunday test! Sunday testing is only available for some thta have disabilities or religious restrictions. If you go to a sunday test, you will likely be asked for a letter stating the reason why you cannot test on saturdays from a church or similar institution. You do have to pay $20 to change the test date. Good luck.

I was reading it and it says standby’s need a letter. I don’t see anything about people who pre-registered. Why should I pay $20 more to them if i already paid them over $60? I work and this money does not come easily. When I was signing up it wasn’t clear and it is not like i did it purposely. :frowning: Damn it, I better not have to reschedule. I got no way of taking it on a saturday now. :(

Let me help you feel better. I also signed-up for the Sunday ACTs on Sept. 17th thinking that there was no difference between those and the Saturday ones. Then when I got my admissions ticket it said that Sunday centers are only for religiously affiliated people and whatnot. So I called ACT and asked a lady what could be done about this. She simply told me that I could change test centers and that it would cost $20, and then very slightly implied that I should just go ahead and take it Sunday because test centers do not check for ANY type of verification. Getting the hint, I went to my test center on Sunday and everything was fine. It actually looked to me like most people there had no religious affiliation at all and just made the same mistake I did.

Hope that helps.

thanks! SWEETTTT!!
