Problem registering for MAC2311?

<p>I finally found a couple of good sections that I wanted to switch to but when I tried to register I got this message: You may not register for SECTION 2171 because you have not met the prerequisite or you do not meet the terms of the temporary enrollment restrictions placed on this section during Advance Registration.</p>

<p>Why can’t I register for a different section even though I’m already registered for MAC2311?</p>

<p>Try to DROP the one you have before and add the new section.</p>

<p>Tried that, that’s not it. The section that I had was an engineering only, and I was able to switch to another engineering only, but no regular sections. I’m guessing that might be the issue. But that would mean that engineering students are only able to register for engineering only sections and not regular ones?</p>
