Am managing to use Excel '03 by logging into my company’s server through remote access. Still want to figure out how to straight download Excel '03 onto my computer so I don’t need to log into the company system from home.

But next question: my new laptop, an HP, has the f1, f2, f3, etc. keys perform functions such as alter the brightness of the screen or alter the volume level, without pressing the fn key. This causes problems because I am unable to use one of the most commonly used excel shortcuts, f2, to edit the contents of a cell. Instead, I need to press fn then f2. This may not seem like a big deal, but it is very annoying. If I need to edit/view the contents of a cell 500 times a day, that’s an extra 500 keys I need to press (regular f2 would be 500, fn + f2 is 1000). Does anyone know how I can reconfigure my keyboard to make it so I can just use regular f2 when I want it, making it so I need to press fn + f2 to instead alter the brightness? Is my question clear? Maybe this isn’t the best place to ask this question, but I’m asking it in multiple places. Thanks. (It gets even more annoying when I want to lookup a function, typically Shift+f3, but with my computer I need to press fn+Shift+f3.)
