Problem with finding out how to register.

Hey guys… as mentioned in the title, i have a problem with registering for AP World History. Let me start in the beginning. When i was in 9th grade i had a 99% in Global 1. However, i was not recommend by my teacher to go into AP Global 2. I am currently self studying for the AP World history. My only resources unfortunately due to economic problems is the 2011 princeton review for AP world and my textbook (World History:Connection to Today by Ellis and Esler)
I have maintained a 99.7 average during the year. In my school, self studying ap’s is frowned upon. The heads of the dept believe that if you arent good enough to take the class, you arent good enough for the test. This became evident to me when my friend,whose a junior now, tried to take it and was pressured by her teacher and the head not to take it. They really made her believe what I said before. Im desperate guys. Do you know how I register to self take it and do it in another school. Thanks so much in advance for your response. </p>

P.S. I have no experience or knowledge about what on it so any tips like how detailed things are or essay topics is much appreciated :)</p>

I recommend talking to ur guidance counselor about that. If you don’t want to do that bc ur afraid they will pressure you to not take it then id recommend finding the nearest high school to you and calling their guidance department. Explain to them your situation and see what they say. </p>

But ya this is just what i’d do so see if you can get any more advice as all i did last year was go to my guidance department to tell them i was self studying</p>
