Problem!!

So, I just took the SAT IIs, and did horribly on Literature. My question is this: should I cancel my scores? I got a 750 on verbal and a 780 on writing on the SAT I, so would it clue the officers into the fact that it was just a bad session? The reason why this is a problem is because if I cancel my scores I can’t apply Early Action :[. What to do??

if you already have two other SAT II’s, or you took three of them today, i wouldn’t worry about it. yale admissions only looks at your best two scores.

but if the Lit score is one of your only two and you really, really felt you did badly (badly is really only <700 for yale), then you might want to reconsider early action and apply when you can present a stronger application in RD.

:[. Yeah, I definitely think that I did less than 700, and it was one of only two.

just chill… in many cases, these things work out. don’t cancel your scores, because if you do, your chances of getting into yale are basically out the window. No one is going to get in RD this year…
