Alright. On practice tests, I get around 770-800 CR, and 650-700 Math. I am obviously more of a humanities person. I love reading, and I typically do well in my writing. However, in the writing section, I typically only miss two or three questions, but score around a 8-10. I find myself constantly running out of time, and my essays lack structure. However, I do have great, valid points, just not evidence to support my assertions. Any tips on improving my essay score?

prepare your examples before u walk in to the testingroom.
i can tell that u’ve probably read alot of books, just gather like 3-4 of em to prepare for any type of essay topics.
for history i like to use the american revolution, civil rights movement(dr martin luther king, etc), these can counter alot of examples ETS throw at us.
for example
- Change
- Justice
- Success
- Bravery
those topics are very hot.

literature, hmm, idk, u can often wrote on someone in classic novels that pertains relevancy to the topic.
im gonna use scarlet letter and grapes of wrath to prepare =p

i have trouble combining my examples to my essay as a coherent whole, gotta work on those before oct! oh the big day =[[
