So I’m actually having trouble deciding a profession to go into. I realize this is perfectly normal but i’m just asking for some thoughts. For a while i’ve wanted to go into Civil Rights Law (Lawyer payed by government or even not payed to support the rights of the community, $ doesn’t matter to me) but i’m now looking into international work. I am really good with other languages but want to do something meaningful with my life (Mission Work?) not necessarily religious but more community service globe-wide. I enjoy the satisfaction of helping people for nothing in return, using sweat and tears. I really have wanted to go into Civil Rights Law but without owning my own practice I wouldn’t be able to travel freely; also on my list. Am i being too picky?

You can decide when you get to a good college. In particular, liberal arts colleges are organized to allow you to explore your interests. If you go to law school the admissions people won’t care what you major in anyway. You could explore international studies and other majors of interest.
