Where do tall women get suits (with pants) or dress pants and blazers? I am not tall, so I have never had to search for myself.
My D is just about 6 ft tall, probably a size 6, and is wanting to start building a professional wardrobe. We know where to get her jeans and casual cloths and she has her favorite spots for that. It is the nicer than khaki or dockers things that we don’t know where to start looking.
My DD (16) is 6’ and we shop online at J. Crew in their Tall section.
Gap (also online - not in stores) has some basics, too, as does Lands’ End. We’ve recently bought just a few professional pieces for her summer job, but I’ve been noticing professional wear at all of them over the past few years.
Yes, we like old navy, too. I learned early that ON (and the rest of the Gap family) had tall clothes for sale online. Too bad they don’t also sell professional/dressy stuff.
I think D2 (5’11") has been finding good luck at AnnTAylor and Loft. She likes to wear dresses to work as she finds it is easier and looks more professional. I have been with her when she has tried on some dresses. Haha, they would think she came to work and forgot to put on her pants with some of them!
When she was a teenager we would shop in Old Navy because they had long jeans.
@bajamm - from what I can tell it is just dress pants and I think some dresses or skirts -I looked for jackets and did not see them - but I could be missing something
Most of these others have said but I too find pieces at Old Navy, Banana Republic, Talbots, Lands End, J. Jill., and Ann Taylor are probably my go -tos for inexpensive to moderately priced pieces in tall. I mostly shop online now since I know for each of these on-line stores what size I need.
