<p>I am a chemistry major planning to transfer.
I don’t know which professor I should ask for recs from.
From my understanding, it is better to ask for recs from a professor teaching a course of your major but I really don’t like my orgo professor and she barely knows me.
So I have the option to either ask my calc prof. or psych prof.
I felt like I really connected with my psych prof and he even told me that I can ask him from recs if I wanted to. But will it be looked down upon if a chem major gets a rec from a psych professor?

<p>I think it’s more important to have someone who knows you well. I think you can also ask TAs for LORs.</p>
