<p>Who are the best people to take the following classes with</p>

BUS A 201
BUS-A 202
BUS-X104 Bus. Presentations
BUS-X204 Bus Communications
BUS-L 201 Bus Law (Is this course really hard??)
BUS-X 201 Technology (Kinser,James Eric and Akaiwa,Frank Ernest are the ones available)</p>
<p>Check the grade distribution reports for last Fall and Spring for each class. I was looking at X201 this morning and I know Kinser and a couple of others had good distributions. My son is taking X104 right now with his FIG and feels he is doing well. His prof is Kathy Fletcher.<br>
Also, check Ratemyprofessors. However, unless there are several ratings I wouldn’t put much stock in them and even then take comments with a grain of salt. It can be helpful in understanding a profs style though.</p>
<p>Also, keep in mind that sometimes you have no choices on who to take a class with.</p>
<p>For example, Econ E370 is being offered this next semester only with Mary Beth Camp–who has terrible ratings on ratemyprofessor. On the other hand, there are only a few people who have rated her. When one considers that E370 is a high-level statistics class, it is likely that there would be some people who just didn’t understand the material–and they are probably the ones who did the ratings. </p>
<p>As far as your classes, both Econ E270 and Business A202 only have one professor teaching the classes, so you should probably only bother asking about the other courses.</p>
<p>The best thing to do with E370 is to take one of the equivalents.</p>
<p>MATH K310 (3 cr.), MATH M365 (3 cr.), or PSY K310 (3 cr.) will all count instead of E370.</p>
<p>M365 is an easy class, grade distribution is very generous.</p>
<p>M 365 is being taught by Michael Natapov, I guess this is the first time he is teaching at IU. I also saw this class has M 212(I have only done 118 and 119) as a prerequisite, but when i registered through Oncourse, I didn’t get any error message. In terms of subject content is it easier than E-370? Would it be sensible to go ahead with a prof teaching for the first time?</p>
<p>2) In terms of grading, who are the best people to take Bus. Presentations and communications with? I really want to get As in these 2 courses.</p>

<p>I think for Business Communications that Polly and Ryan are the preferred teachers. I don’t know who the preferred ones are for Business Presentations. For the law course, McCrory is the teacher everyone raves about–but his grading curve is really strict–so I don’t know who to suggest.</p>
<p>P.S. Be aware that CMCL C121 is an acceptable substitute for the Business Presentations class–so when checking out professors, check out the ones teaching that class also. Also, Natapov has taught before at IU–he just hasn’t taught MATH M365 before.</p>
