profs will think i'm a prestige whore?

<p>I’m applying as a transfer for fall '07, and i was wondering what my profs might think if somewhere between 3/4 and 4/5 of my applications are for ivy league schools. I’m concerned that this might turn them off if they think that i’m solely out for prestige. I’ve been slightly considering applying to harvard just for the official rejection stationary, but maybe I should just eliminate it from the list if it’ll cause a problem.</p>

<p>p.s. the other 2 or 3 ivy apps are legit.</p>

<p>Don’t be so self-conscious. Aim high and don’t be embarrassed about your goals. If the professors you’re asking are the type who would look down on you, then make sure to come out and explain.</p>
