Program Class Profiles

I was wondering if someone who goes to the following programs or knows them very well (if you’re just guessing without solid evidence, then please don’t post), can post what the average admitted student’s GPA and SAT scores were (not minimum requirements)?

USC:
Drexel:
Stony Brook:
Union/Albany:
UMiami:
USF:
Rice/Baylor:
Brown:
UMKC:
Leigh:
Villanova:
Baylor/Baylor:
RPI:
UAlabama:
Vanderbilt:
Cal.Tech./UCSD:
Northwestern:
BU:
UIllinios-Chicago:
Penn State:
Temple:
VCU:
SLU:
any others:

Note: I’m asking for the GPA and SAT scores of admitted students, not applicants. Just clarifying.

Oh, and it would help if you posted class rank and top % along with the GPA to have a better comparison.

I left out…

UConn:
East Tenn.:
UMDNJ:
Rutgers:
GWU:
NEOUCOM:
Ohio State:
Miami U. DAP:
and the other Ohio programs although I’m not really clear on which ones there are since there are so many.

oh and:

URochester:

haha, sorry!

Year 2 in Case PPSP here. This year’s incoming class was our strongest ever. All of the students to whom I was introduced were ranked #1,2 or 3 in classes in 500+. After speaking to an admission officer, I subsequently found that they had a FEW DOZEN applicants with 2350+ SAT score. From this info, i can surmise that the class AVG is ~2300 give or take. Almost all of them have been accepted to the nations most prestigious BA/MD programs i.e. Rice/Baylor, BU, REMS and USC…

ok, thank you tfd. that helps. anyone else?

Case’s program is sooo overrated. I don’t know why everyone thinks it’s so wonderful…it’s provisional admission to the med school for heaven’s sake!

centralperky: I am not sure where you are getting your info from. I am reading my contract for PPSP right now and the exact word they use here is guarantee! If you maintain the 3.6 GPA you will be accepted to the medical school. You still have to fill out an application and come in for an interview, but, these are only FORMALITIES as we have been told many times. They are legally obliged to take us if the requirements are met, hence, the purpose of a signed contract.

Well! Affiliated hospital for Case program is Cleveland Clinic, one of the top med schools… That is not overrated by any means.

The Cleveland Clinic is affiliated with several medical schools and is very accessible to students at unaffiliated schools.

ACT=33(took once), 4.0uw, #1 were enough to get into:
Miami U DAP, NEOUCOM (instate), University of Toledo (BS/MD, no MCAT, undergrad -biomedical eng. co-op 4 years). Rejected : Iniversity of Cincinnati DAP (the same prgm as Miami, did not apply to Dayton), CASE PPSP, Michigan. Ohio State requires to be NMF (PSAT based) to apply. Attending Miami U DAP.

“The Cleveland Clinic is affiliated with several medical schools and is very accessible to students at unaffiliated schools.”

umm…what? How are you going to do your rotations at the Cleveland Clinic if you aren’t attending a med school in Cleveland? At most, another med school might let you do an elective at the Cleveland Clinic but most med schools force you to do the majority of your clinical rotations at nearby affiliated hospitals.
