Our son got admitted to the Program in Exploratory Studies. He wants to transfer to ME or BME. How tough is the placement exam? Any tips or sites where he can practice the test? Thank you
There is a Facebook group for CU parents, so you might want to search there because the process has been discussed many times. Students starts in PES and takes pre-engineering classes, then after the first semester, sometimes the first year, they apply to transfer. I don’t recall anything about a placement exam, and from what I can tell it’s a fairly seamless process if your student does well in his first-year classes and works with his advisor to make sure he’s taking the right prerequisites.
