Hi!
I have heard of John Hopkins University Center of Talented Youth program and I want to enroll in it. I just got to know it yesterday, and I am a junior in high school. The deadline for courses, as far as I know, was May 3. But I didn’t know of this program before so I am going to email them and explain the situation.
In the meantime, I wanted to look at some similar programs. Do you know of any program that would allow to take high level courses for credit?
Thank you!
From Hopkins’ CTY website:
Enrollment for in-person summer courses extended to May 24! [Apply today]
You need to submit test scores to qualify for enrollment in CTY’s on-line and in-person summer courses. Go to their ‘testing’ pages where the many tests that they accept are listed.
These courses are great as enrichment, but do not expect them to help with your college applications directly. Listing participation in these courses on your college applications would not tip the scale in your favor, while not having them would not disqualify your applications.
