What I have found so wonderful about term reports is their length, depth, and honesty, SO different from the feedback we always got from our local schools where ChoatieKid was just wonderful and had no room for improvement, nope, just cant say enough, end of discussion, yet I couldnt figure out on what planet some of the mess he turned in was acceptable. I just loved hearing his Choate teachers correct those misconceptions first year, clearly showing him where the bar was and even more clearly how to clear it. That alone was worth the price of admission. So, @soxmon, I would have to agree that a rude awakening can be a gift. Cringe now for great results later. By sophomore year, I often forgot to log in to even look at his grades, and when I did, I was only interested in the comments.
