project about UCSD! help?

<p>hiii.</p>

<p>so i have to do some lame college research project for AP Euro (w t f), and i picked UCSD! i have to do a bunch of random tasks / answer questions, and some of them are:</p>

<li><p>what special programs are offered at UCSD? (ex: travel abroad programs, internships with companies / organizations, accelerated degree programs)</p></li>
<li><p>get a current course catalog from the school </p></li>
<li><p>interview a current student at the school (at least 10 questions). identify the name & year of the student and how you came to talk to them.</p></li>
<li><p>find a 1 bedroom apartment within 5 miles of UCSD.</p></li>
<li><p>get a copy of the school’s newspaper (real, not online)</p></li>
</ol>

<p>so yeah, i was wondering if anyone was up for helping me with 2 & 3 especially, or anything? thanks a billion! (: i’ll interview anyone, haha. <33</p>

<li>you should check out the Community Centers, its composed of 3 centers aimed at promoting a more diverse campus. google it</li>
<li>tritonlink.ucsd.edu - under “TOOLS” click schedule of classes</li>

<li>search for costa verde or la regencia in la jolla,ca. theyre apartments/condos. there are also 1-bedroom apartments on campus, you can look at hds.ucsd.edu</li>

<p>ummm dude…you’re obviously lying. Just admit that you’re a new freshman or transfer and has some questions. Don’t make up stuff. The “apartment within 5 miles” really gave it away. I mean what kind of class gives a project like this.</p>

<p>uh… yeah, i’m really lying. maybe if you’d check my overall posts in CC you’d realize i’m a SOPH IN HIGHSCHOOL. :)</p>

<p>and i don’t know why we got this proj either. it’s in our AP euro class too. but it says in the intro of our paper: </p>

“Now that you are at the close of your sophomore year, it’s important to begin thinking about next year and the importance it will play in your journey towards college. To help you with this process, I’ve assigned you to the task of researching a few colleges/universities. Your research will begin with a survey that will help you identify what is important to you in a college/university. You will then identify three schools that fit your criteria for a college/university. You will then select with of the three schools you researched is best for you. Finally, you will present your findings to the rest of your classmates in a brief oral presentation.”

<p>so why the hell would i make stuff up about this? lol. i got a college research project, i picked UCSD, and there are some steps i have to complete to finish it + get extra credit. and so i posted it here since i also wanted to interview someone from CC since they’re awesome. <3 (:</p>

<p>i also did a project like this in my english class. it was after the APs and during my junior year so my teacher wanted his kids to start thinking about college. in fact, that’s how i found CC in the first place!</p>
