In U.K.
started undergrad in music in Boston online 3.5 years ago
Former uni and college sent copies of certificates via email to new uni.
Have completed complete degree n $50000+ poorer and suddenly uni have said you can’t graduate until all of the examination boards in U.K. internationally post duplicate exam certificates directly to us.
BUT the U.K. examination boards have told me that there is absolutely no way that they will do this. A) because it is international and they have no idea who they are B) personal data can’t be guaranteed as secure C) gdpr rules are different and American uni not signed up to any international data protection accord.
I have sent my own exam certificates with unique of qual and learner numbers on them but Boston uni they won’t accept them
What do I do now? I can’t graduate
@MYOS1634 does this make sense to you?
I wish I understood this situation. Sorry @Reallyfedup I am not clear on what you need.
Are you registered at Boston University also known as BU?
What exact program (can you provide a link)?
I’m guessing the Registrar wants your GCSE/ALevels to ensure you’re legally allowed to be awarded a higher education degree.
(Since results come out in August you may not have made an official copy -notary stamp or townhall stamp or some sort of verification stamp gauranteeintlg the original and the copy are the same).
