<p>but isnt it funny that both farewell to arms and hills like white elephants are both about miscarriages(and abortions) of american service men and their british girlfriends who drink too much booze? anyways, since this is such a prevalent theme in hemingways work, do you think hemingway is just writing about something he went throught(impregnating a british girl during the war).please answer in a well constructed response of six sentences or less. thank you</p>
