A couple of my friends and I are going to live next door to each other in Schuyler seeing that it was the best choice for my time slot. What are the pros and cons of Schuyler?

It’s very quiet, so trouble getting work done or sleeping. It’s kinda far away from campus, but you can catch the bus on Stewart Ave for free every day if you get up at the right time. On the other hand it’s closer to the commons, which has a better selection of restaurants, etc. than Collegetown. Rooms are reasonably big, mine was a bit dark because it was a single on the fourth floor which is basically like an attic with sloped ceilings. Doubles are pretty nice too, significantly larger than Donlon at least.

I knew a guy who lived in schuyler and somehow transferred out. Here’s what I’ve gathered.

Pros: none

Cons:
The people at Schuyler are weird.
There are bats that occasionally fly around
No Dining
No Gym
Way too far away from central campus.
Dealing with the headache of constantly planning your trips to and from campus with the bus system.
Weird odors

There’s a reason why there are still rooms open at this place at the end of lottery
