Pros/Cons?

Why do you guys apply to this school?
What are the pros/cons?

Oh, enough already.

A far more meaningful question than the million “Chance me” or “Do I have a chance” questions that have no value, or the “How many recs” or “What is the deadline” questions where the answer is available to anybody willing to spend 10 minutes on [USC - University of Southern California](http://www.usc.edu)

While it is a good question, it’s a bit vague. Could you tell us about some specific things that concern you about USC, then we could comment on those? Thanks!

Is USC a party school? Will it be hard for me to fit in, if im not a party person at all?

One of the things that my kids like about USC is that it is big enough that folks can find the right “niche” for them. My S is a techno-nerd & has found a very nice group of friends. He & they aren’t much into partying but still are enjoying their time at USC. My D will enter in January as a transfer & she has friends there who are also happy at USC. Actually, I have heard few folks who were not happy at USC as it offers a lot of variety.

If you want a “small” school experience, you can may be able to find it within your major or smaller school, like my S has found it in engineering. Like Nikara said, you will get better responses if you explain more about what you’re specifically interested in.
