<p>There is a rising trend where prospective medical students are majoring in Psychology ,English etc hoping to get a higher GPA as opposed to persuing a Biology or Chemistry degree where the possibilities of getting a high GPA are much lower. I think its a good alternative as researches have shown that non Science and Science Major are equally competent on the MCAT and in Med School.</p>

<p>A lot of prospective medical students major in the sciences because well, they enjoy and find the sciences interesting. I would probably kill myself before I could graduate with a bachelor’s in english.</p>
