Our S24 was admitted RD last night after being deferred EA. No merit, though. Still, we are pleased for him! He had narrowed down his top 2 choices to two schools, one in Philly and one in NJ, but this gives him another option. I liked Providence and am happy to get this news even late in the college journey cycle (S24 applied to 12 schools by Nov15 - it’s been a long process).

Congrats to your son! Did he recieve an email with updated information to check the portal? My D24, was also deferred EA and is still waiting. It sure has been a long process!
Hello, yes- he did get a terse email last night indicating a portal update had been posted. I thought it might be a rejection but happily, it was an admittance. We are OOS in FL, if that makes a difference.

Thank you! She did not receive an email, but did check the portal…she was waitlisted, which is only more frustrating, so i think Providence is off the table for us…Good luck to your son tho!
