i made an account on this site JUST to ask this one question. please. please. please. someone help me find out my score
1 omit and 6 wrong CR
1 wrong grid in Math
3 wrong writing
PLEASE…and thank you.

^
I don’t follow that reasoning. Like for example: “That the cavemen discovered fire suggests that humans had been curious early in their history”: this sentence works, the discovery still suggests, in present times, that humans were curious long ago.

Use some classic SAT-style sentence-trimming and you pretty much get, “that fact suggests that humans had been curious”

I think I remember it being had, too. I hope it’s not though, because I chose D…

It was definitely has. I remember thinking it SHOULD be had, and I even wrote “had shrunk” under “has shrunk”.

I’m becoming more and more depressed…

Right now:
-4/5 CR
-3 M
-3 W

So… 71+72+70=213

I CANNOT MISS ANY MORE.

yeah, that’s basically it. I was just saying that “suggests” is correct and doesn’t have to be changed. “Has shrunk” on the other hand does.

Okay, therefore, according to your English teacher, I was correct last night, assuming that it is that it is worded that way. I feel less sad now.

IF the answer to the thieves question was D, and I didn’t make any stupid mistakes… I could’ve pulled the 240: -1 on CR, -0 M&W. COME ON CURVE!

-1 on CR will almost certainly be 80.

yooooooo
puhlease someone help me out here

YOOOOOOOO.
Next time do it yourself:

CR: 67
M: 76
W: 72

approximately 215. Cheers?

why, if i only missed one grid in on math, did i get one raw point off?
i guess i can hope for a really lenient curve…VA is usually 220

Because you didn’t get it correct. So it’s -1, instead of -1.25.

whats the “misanthropic” question and what were the other options? this is the only problem i cant remember from CR

The misanthropic one had something to with a woman not trusting or like people, I think. The other choices were absolutely ridiculous, so I forgot what they were.

hmm anyone remember?
i now feel like i got it but would like confirmation.
completely got flustered on section 1 (test jitters…) but im at -1 W, -1 Math and around -6,7 for reading

Could somebody please tell me why it is apparently “you should not” as the answer for the security question on the writing section? Apparently I’m about alone in choosing A, “do not” because i saw nothing wrong with it and saw no implications of the need for “you” in it.

@dannylee. same here man. that first Cr section destroyed me. im looking at -7 already in Cr. however my M and W are still -0 as long as that thieves problem is no error. :)

CR killed me, and it is normally my best one! -6 or -7. Test jitters, a fan blowing on my legs, and a lack of sleep equate to bad results. Oh well. Bye-Bye self-worth. At least it didn’t count for me this time.

@comeonharvard i believe “you should not” was the correct answer. "do not doesn’t make sense when you take out the nonessential component (the part in the commas), the sentence does not make sense. if anyone can remember the question stem, that would be helpful.
