PSAT 2014 Results

Anybody already got their PSAT 2014 results? I’m a little frustrated with my scores because this is the second time I take it plus I studied really hard for this one. I even bought a handbook full of exercises and tricks from the Princeton Review and honestly they didn’t work for me. I expected higher scores, although my math score was not that bad after all for a sophomore. Seriously, wtf. Any other tips? For those that got a high score, did you prepare yourselves? If so, how?!!

It would probably help to know your score

writing skills - 48

Go to the SAT Prep subforum here and look for the pinned threads on the Xiggi method and the Siverturtle method.

Critical Reading: 60
Math: 69
Writing Skills: 73
Overall: 202
I’m pretty happy. I took the SAT a few days before this test and an SAT Prep Class for the month of September. My PSAT and SAT scores were almost exactly the same. Maybe you should take an SAT Prep Class; sometimes it helps if someone is actually teaching you instead of you teaching yourself.

Seconding Erin’s Dad’s advice. In addition, are you a freshman, sophomore, or junior?

@An0maly‌ I’m a sophomore, but I’m also a latina, therefore I’m at disadvantage regarding critical reading and writing skills. Unfortunately, my english is a setback. :frowning:

Thanks @Erin’s Dad , I’ll check it out!
