Sucks that i probably wont make semifinalist since i live in Virginia. But it seems like a 1370 is the cut off for 99 percentile or 98.5.
I’m a sophomore and got 1340/203. It’s 98% but maybe that’s only compared to other sophomores?
Can I use my December 2015 SAT for NMF consideration?
Getting to semifinals requires your psat score.
@glassflowers Illinois is about in the middle. WV had the lowest cutoff of 201 and NJ had the highest cutoff of 224. Illinois was 215. These are last year’s numbers and can’t be compared to this year’s selection index which is on a new scale.
@cheesecake Does your friend have her home address in the CB account profile? It should be the same address she used on the test.
I got the 99th Percentiles in overall and in English/Reading 680
I got 98th Percentile in Math 700
1410, 210, 99th Percentile from Tennessee.
Can someone explain how the scholarships are distributed? All I know is that the top 1% or so will get a scholarship. Are the scholarships of the top 1% given uniformly to all the states?
In other words, If a total of 1000 scholarships are going to be given out, will the 20 top scoring individuals in each state get the scholarships?
My brother had 209 sophomore year ,and then studied and got 227 and NMF in CA! So there is hope.
@BAMABOUND23 How many did you get wrong to get 700 in math?
It’s a little bit ridiculous how CB does not release the cutoffs until next september
Did anyone notice the two total percentile scores they got on their score report. Are these percentiles averaged to give you a final percentile.
@BAMABOUND23 What is your selection index? I’ll include it in the table.
NM scholarships are not given based on the PSAT scores alone. Your scores just qualify you to get scholarships from colleges and corporations. Not all colleges even offer scholarships for NM.
Hey guys this was started by @jerzmaster please copy and paste and then add your stats and post! Thanks!!! (we can treat it like an Open Source Psat stat thing…)
1360, 198, 98th Percentile
1370, 200, 99th Percentile
1400, 206, 99th Percentile
1410, 208, 99th Percentile
1480, 221, 99th Percentile
1480, 222, 99th Percentile
1520, 228, 99th Percentile
I got a 206 in my selection index which is kind of weird considering 1400 is the same thing.
@BAMABOUND23 How many did you get wrong in Math for a 700?
@MizAZN yes you can.
I got 1520, 228, 99th percentile as well which I’m sure doesn’t help…but in case it does.
I missed a total of 9. 3 in non-calc and 6 with calc. I think i may be retarded.
