Thank you! Lets hope ca1543. So 218 is pretty good then?
Still no scores…
@miottawa I’m going through the same thing. However, I might get my scores because apparently I saw a lot of people tweeting to CB on twitter about not having their access code so I tried doing the same and they replied asking me to DM them my date of birth, email, and full name, and that they would check my account. So hopefully by tomorrow, I’ll get my access code, but I don’t know…
BTW, their service hours on Twitter are from 8 am to 5 pm.
I tried Twitter too. They said that the scores were delayed and college board would get back to me soon. That was two days ago. When I tried to push for more information, they said they did not know anything about it.
payn4ward that is awesome! Thanks!
I’m just wondering. If I get 10 wrong on reading, 4 wrong on writing, and 8 wrong on Math, What score would I get?
205 S.I. = 33 R + 34 W + 35.5 M @YoohooAddict
670+710= 1380 PSAT
97% 97% 98%
Does anybody have a guess as to what the lowest 99th percentile si score is? 210 maybe?
How well do we need to do on the new SAT to become a NMF? And will the writing portion be required?
If you are still waiting for your scores, don’t forget to try to log into your CB account a few times. Once they verify who you are they can make your scores available online immediately. Especially if they are still sending out access codes in batches, you might have to wait several additional hours for that. So don’t forget to check online.
If we get in the 98% nationally, is it impossible to get NMSF? even if I live in a high cutoff state like MD?
@18collegebound I am wondering that too. Anyone have any ideas about how we need to do on the SAT to get NMF? What about the other steps?
I think NMSC will be posting those guidelines on it’s website this year but probably later on. This year’s competition is still in full swing. Someone called NMSC the other day and was told that either old or new SAT will work but I don’t think the details on the new SAT minimum have been worked out yet.
for the other steps just go over to their website and read about the scholarship program.
I love guessing games (predicting 2017 PSAT cutoff for NMF) based on different math models or old data. I also looat old data for both PSAT and SAT (year 2013, 2014 and 2015) - only at 99%Tile and top 15000 students. Note: I am aware of score, scale change and quota change for each state this year, so I SPECULATE on data behavior (more than logic … forgive me). In order to get in top 15000 for NMF, you got be in 99.25%tile to 99.33%tile - translate to SI from 211 and up, translate to Total score from 1390 and up. My estimate may have many flaws (also I am a junior), but your guesses and your confidences in 2017 PSAT cutoff are as good as others or myself
I felt good about my 1460, right up until I found out all 3 of my friends got perfect 1520’s…there goes any chance of a decent cut-off in CA.

See page 11 for SI percentiles this year.
What high school do you go to?
^ Very helpful. Thanks! So am I right that looks like testmasters’ prediction may be correct? Anyone care to compare the tables to last year’s test for a prediction?
