PSAT October 2009

This Wednesday October 14th I will be taking the PSAT/NMSQT, and I really want to do well. I’m quite nervous, but I have been studying hard for it and the SAT for at least a good solid 2 months now. I’m scared I won’t score well enough to be a NMS. On practice tests my scores can range from 190’s to the mid 220’s. Are those scores even good because on the forums I always see people getting only 1 wrong for the whole test.

Where I live I have to score a 213+, so what are my chances that I will be able to get it?

Thanks in advance. :)

well… assuming a normal distribution of your scores between “190’s to the mid 220’s” we can set up a z-interval with, let’s say, 95% confidence and see how likely your chances of scoring 213+ are…

point is, we don’t know. you should be resting up for the big day. jsut do your best, don’t make silly mistakes, and then forget about it when you’re done.
