My d.d got an opportunity to be a peer tutor for the college board and school house; how can we update the admission team? Does she need to send the invitation email or write about it?
I had an updated too. I just emailed the schools saying that I had additional infomration and explained what it was.
You can email the update if you can’t update the portal.
But I would also ask what this adds to the application as she hasn’t done it yet. How does this explain how she fills her time and who she is?

Yes, I agree; I was debating that; it just indicates she scored high and is taking a new role and intends to help others.

if I received this email when she just got this opportunity, it would feel like you’re springing at every opportunity to increase your chances at admission?
I wouldn’t update them unless it’s something meaningful. no shade to your daughter that opportunity is amazing but I doubt that this opportunity is going to have a lot of meaning in her life.
Plus if her scores are high and you submitted them then they would already know that they are high.
I’m not an AO and I don’t have a lot of experience in boarding school admissions, so take this with a grain of salt. Do it if you would like to and think that it would make an impact on her application, but like @gardenstategal said it doesn’t really explain who she is and what she’s interested in.
