PSAT Question

Hey. I just was told that I’ve been qualified for National Merit, but I won’t find out until August whether I’m a Finalist or Commended. Anyways, I am debating whether or not I should use that score report choice and send my score to two colleges. I * would * send it out to Duke for sure and then either Harvard or Penn, but I don’t know if I should.

You see, although my score is good enough for National Merit, it’s still a pretty weak score (209). I feel like sending this out may actually * hurt * my chances with these schools because it’s on the lower end of qualification. Anyways, should I send my score to these schools or schools on my list with lower prestige (i.e. Iowa/Michigan)?

Advice is appreciated. Thanks.

209 is a verry. good score. A fair amount of kids who to harvard duke and penn arent national merit finalists or even commended.

thanks. i know that i’ll put NMF or NMC on my resume, i just don’t know if i should actually report my scores and stuff to those schools, which is an option that i have… i’m thinking this because those schools probably get way better psat scores sent in.
