I am a freshman in high school and I am starting to prepare for the SAT.
I took the PSAT earlier this school year and got a 182 (50 CR, 61W, 71 Math)
I got the blue book few weeks ago, and I found the questions in the blue book more difficult than the PSAT questions. (I would get a lower score than my PSAT score)
Are SAT questions more difficult or different from the PSAT questions?
(I am sorry for this newbie question)
Are there huge differences between SAT and PSAT questions?
SAT questions are slightly more difficult, yes, but overall you shouldn’t have more than a 100 drop between the two tests (in other words, they are fairly similar). If you have a 182(0) on the PSAT, then you should get no less than a 1700 on the SAT.
SAT questions are slightly more difficult than the PSAT, there is a good overlap between the two and some of the topics asked on the SAT are absent in PSAT. Other than that the style is the same for both the tests.
