SPS
NMH

The websites for each of these schools will tell you where you fall based on their average SSAT scores. Look at the facts, not people’s opinions on this one. If you fall around the average or above, you’re fine.

then why not take the SSAT in Jan?

ChoatieMom-I was talking about SAT scores not SSAT. Unfortunately, websites don’t post SAT scores.

GMTplus7- Well I haven’t preped for SSAT and I doubt one month of prep time will be enough. What would you consider a “good” SAT score for a 10th grader applying?

@jwla06,

The school websites do publish average SAT scores for their seniors who are applying to college. But the seniors are older and more schooled than u, so comparing your score w theirs would not be a fair comparison.

The SSAT is similar to the SAT. Suggest u pick up an SSAT study guide book from a bookstore and look thru it.

DS took the test 2 weeks after I told him he needed to take it; he survived.
