Well, I missed 3 CR questions so far.

@jolly I put that

Well, I missed 3 CR questions so far.

@jolly I put that

these light hearted debates are upsetting. I’m going to pretend that I did very, very well now. Nice talking to all of you and hope you guys did well!

yes, the birds migrate early to avoid the severity of harsh winters

the other choices i recall were regression, aridity…The answer was definitely severity.

It was definitely what the passage said about the socrates’s death in the paining. can anyone else confirm?

for the Gm one, one of the questions was about the comparison of the two passages, was the answer that one presents a representative of a particular group and the other passage criticizes that representative?

i forgot the other answer choice i was stuck between on that one but i put the one i just mentioned. anyone agree?

@gensis Sudden change of heart? lol I hope I get at least 66 on CR

thats what i put abc.

I think it might’ve asked specifically about the painting. I remember looking at it and being confused at the wording. I didn’t even notice the option about the woebegone friends.

@abc yeah it was something like that. passage 1 was presenting a representative and passage was something. i dont remember too much

@ gensis, thats good because you sound good at cr, this is my worst section by far lol and i see on the psat curve thread that people are calling the cr section average, is it just me or was this harder than usual?

Passage one was representing the viewpoints of one side, Passage two was criticizing the tactics of that one side. That’s what I put at least

@abc I thought it was ridiculously hard.

The wording was something like “passage 1 describes a representative of a cause while passage 2 criticizes that representative’s organization”

I picked that one.

I would have to say the cr vocab was difficult and the passage were fairly easy.

At least the passages were much more enjoyable to read than last year. Less environmental crap, the Indian story was pretty interesting.

It could be that my grammar skills are lacking, but I think I saw a grammar error in the math section towards the end.

Anyway, what did you guys put for that Writing question talking about the US founders where the answer choices were could be, will be, could be able to be (or something like that)?

In the previous posts, we confirmed that it was could be.

i got the answer as activism one…

@cheshirecatsmile, I had doubts about that question also. I think the general consensus was “could be”

was would be one of the answers? i think i may have chosen that one

I agree. I actually thought both the passages and the vocab were harder that those of the actual SAT
