Psat score important 2012

<p>I got my a 199 PSAT score in Florida and I was wondering if that would qualify me for commended. My report says it is in the 96th percentile, but I’ve heard that you need at least 200 to get commended. Do you think I will get commended? I would hate to miss it by a point or two!</p>

<p>Sorry to say this, but it probably isn’t commended. Commended usually hovers in the low 200s. In recent years, it’s been between 200 and 202, but you could get lucky this year.</p>

<p>I may be misinterpreting this chart, but it looks as though a score of 201 will be required to be in the top 3% of HS Jrs. I do not know much about this process, so I may be wrong.</p>
