^ basically, yeah. Commended students get a certificate or something… I don’t think you get any kind of monetary award unless you become a finalist. If you’re a finalist I believe state colleges award academic scholarships too, but not positive on that.

And my state cutoff rose 4 points last year! Now it’s one of the highest. Hopefully I’ll find out either way tomorrow.</p>

<p>I just asked our school councelor, she said they don’t have the PSAT scores yet. We live in MN, and the school gives the Wednesday version of the test.</p>
<p>Guys the curve was really harsh. I still made NMSF probably even though I’m In a tough state. -1 was a 75 for writing for me.</p>
