PSAT scores are ready

-1 W was 76 for me!

How odd.

75cr 80m 75w 230

nmsf!

Wow I got murdered. 5 points short of NMSF. Conveniently enough, I misread a writing question rated easy, which cost me exactly 5 points. I also misread a math problem which cost me 3…

I also had the lowest cr score I have ever done. I’ve never done less than 720 (800 on two practice tests), yet I scored a 69 on the psat.

There goes any hope I had at attending a good college for a reasonable price.

@allidoiswin
For 74M:
2 wrong

For 67CR:
4 wrong, 3 ommitted. you do the math, since I’m horrible at calculating curves.

223!! NMSF!!

Missed 7 in reading = 67
Perfect Math = 80
Missed 1 Writing = 76

Writing curve sucked.

how come i got a 75 for CR -1 and others got 76? has this happened before in the past?

227

75 Cr (Worst ever between PSAT/SAT, I have 800 cr on sat)
72 M (meh, fairly consistent but my best SAT is 760 math)
80 W (consistent)

made nmsf of course, along with 5 others from my school

The difference in the curve is due to the fact that the test was offered on Saturday and Wednesday

My school won’t release my PSAT yet because they’re stupid.

What do you guys think my score will be if I hypothetically get -3 in all three sections?

Wednesday test.

I find out tomorrow! I got 230+ on the last two practice PSATs I took … hopefully I get a 230 tomorrow :)! Otherwise ….

@Overide, it depends on which test date you are. My guess is CR - 75, WR - 69, M - 72. Total 216

When you say “-3” or “-5”, does that mean three questions wrong, or three points deducted from a perfect raw score?

225 … not quite what I expected … but more than enough for NM :).

218: 73 CR (3 wrong), 77 M (1 omitted), 68 W (3 wrong). Way lower than my actual SAT score (which I anticipaed, lol), but I guess I should just be glad that it improved from last year’s PSAT.

Lulz 208… 71 CR, 77 M, 60 W (???)

Looks like no NM for me (California). Good thing I have a 2300 under my belt already ;)

I’m seeing a lot of people claim their SAT scores are much higher than their PSAT scores. I’ve never taken the SAT, so can I ask why that is? I was considering taking the SAT because I only got a 31 on the ACT and I will for sure if it’s somehow easier than the PSAT.

I got a 212. :frowning:
Not good enough for texas.

From Texas, got a 214
80- Math
71- Writing (missed two)
63- Reading (missed nine)
I’m soooo mad, I think I just missed the cutoff score. And I did horrible on the reading ugh!
Maybe the worst part is that I lost 9 points for missing two questions on the writing. ■■■

Connecticut: 221 (I hope this is enough for NM)
CR: 64 (Incredibly dissapointing. Worst CR ever, seeing as I scored a mean of 730 on my blue book full SAT tests for CR)
M: 77 (ARRGHHHGHGH one question wrong I was literally expecting an 80 but I made a careless mistake)
W: 80 (no rage here)

I’ll be getting my score tomorrow! Wish me luck. I’m wishing al of you guys luck already:)

YIKES! Hope I get a 180+. Just took the 2007 Wednesday practice test and got a 191 ( :frowning: ). Completely bombed the CR and writing (55 & 56 respectively). but whatever. Need to study more!
