FYI, we just got word from our HS guidance department that PSAT scores from October will not be available to the HS until January (usually they have the scores by now). There was some indication that if students had filled out email info on the test sheet that the scores would be sent to them electronically in late December; or maybe they’ll just be posted to their online portal and they can access them from there? Not sure. No explanation as to why. Does raise questions in my mind about whether they’re having to “adjust” scoring since the test is new … which translates into questions about what things will be like when the new SAT premieres in March. And this is why DD took the ACT this past weekend … if nothing else, that will be a score that is comparable to previous years for admissions purposes…
Yet another reason to think that all the $$$ that gets sent to the College Board is a big waste; reinforces my desire to send them as little $ as possible…
