PSAT to SAT Score Drop

I took a Princeton Review practice test cold at the end of summer, my PSAT score was 210 and my practice full SAT score was 1880. That seems like a big drop to me! I was hoping for a good score, but this is really disappointing.

Do you think that the 1880 could be due to the time between school and when I took it?
Which score do you think is closer to what I will really get?

Don’t worry! You should try a collegeboard SAT test instead of one from the Princeton review to see where you are. Princeton review tests aren’t quite accurate:

Your score should be closer to your PSAT score, but keep in mind that the PSAT is truncated and that there is no essay.

@ClassOf2015HS What do you mean it’s truncated?

And I got a 201 on the PSAT and went down to a 1770 my first SAT lol. Good news is I took it again for a 1930, and now that I’m practicing I’m scoring 2200+

The PSAT is a shorter test, thus the SAT is moreso a test of endurance.
