Psat

I got my PSAT results back recently. I got a 230. Do PSAT scores, in your experience, do a good job of predicting how well you do on the SAT? And does a 230 qualify me for national merit?

yes, it will qualify. and no, it is not often a good predictor of your sat. you should still study and take your sat seriously.

Yes and Yes. It does qualify you for national merit as long as your a junior and yes it is a pretty food indicator of how well you’ll do the SAT.

Yes - you will make NM and Yes - the PSAT is a good predictor of your future SAT score. You should prepare for the SAT the same way you prepared for the PSAT. Remember, the PSAT is longer, so it will require endurance. Be sure to have a good night’s sleep, bring water and a snack to consume during the breaks. Best of luck.

Yes. Depends on where you’re from
