I wonder which of these two schools would be better? I don’t want middle of
nowhere where you can’t even get fast foods. Also I don’t like the bone chilling cold weather. Just cold is fine.
I prefer not to drive a car unless necessary.
However I also consider which would be a better diploma when I get a job later

These are very different types of schools. UIC is urban and has ~30,000 students. PSU Berks has 1/10 the number of students and is suburban. Winter weather is milder in southern Pennsylvania than in Chicago. Are you instate for either school? Is cost a factor in your decision? Can your family afford both schools? Have you done research into the strength of your prospective major at both schools?
Just looking at the statistics, I appears that UIC is the stronger school. However, if you do well at PSU Berks, I believe you could be admitted to Smeal College of Business at PSU’s main campus for the last 2 years.
