PSU Class of 2020 Decision Thread

@jillmam13 Yes. I have seen a few for summer. Some people didn’t realize they could apply for Fall and then be considered for Summer if they are rejected for Fall.

Can anybody tell me my chances for summer session admission?:

@zipbags You think some decisions will be sent out tomorrow and wednesday?

This wait is terrible. Ok suggestion PSU. Make the priority deadline Nov 1st with a guaranteed decision by Dec 31. That way the holidays can be jolly. No matter what date you make the priority deadline you will still have the procrastinating students waiting until the last day to apply. The fasfa can be completed in Oct in 2016, thus universities can make financial decisions earlier. By notifying the applicants before the holidays PSU will be advertised 100% more with all the t-shirts, jewelry, hats, and did I say hoodies? Win win for both parties. Agree?

@psudream Not sure. I am sure their will be some over the next day or so.

@jillmam13 I’m in a similar position. I applied for summer admission straight away. The wait is killing me. PSU Main is my top choice and I won’t accept a branch campus.

@jillmam13 I have a 3.1 Math:700 Reading:530 Writing:550 Few AP’s Few honors Hopefully YOu get in ^^ I havent applied yet so lower chances

Congrats #Orioles13! Did you hear today? Good luck on your decisions!

@crazycat220 Thank you. I received the acceptance packet on Saturday. I hadnt checked the website for about 3-4 days prior to. Didn’t think about posting until today.

@jillmam13 With a GPA and SAT scores below the middle 50%, you are more likely than not to be offered a commonwealth campus rather than UP. The good news is the middle 50% for SAT scores came down for 2015-2016, but the average GPA of those admitted was 3.6. You can see the new common data set here:
