My niece was accepted back in November and she received the provost award this week as well as a merit and leadership award…I was surprised because PSU doesn’t usually give much, but she is an exceptional student and community leader etc… My daughter is a freshman and got nada…which is much more typical.

@kau123 It is $4000 per year, $16,000 total. We were surprised because we did not think they gave merit aid to OOS students.

Rejected from DUS University Park for fall. Couldn’t do summer anyway

I’m pretty confused, I know people with Lower GPA and scores who got in fall. And I got into Maryland which from my understanding is harder to get into. I honestly think that they may just flip a coin to see if you’re in or out, it kind of seems that way…

GPA(F and Soph year) and SAT not that great due to personal reasons.
Definitely going to ask to be reevaluated for UP Summer as undecided.

Congrats, how many times did you check today. Just trying to figure out if they are updating all day or just once a day. We checked at 630 am today and nothing yet .
^^ Checked this morning around 6:00, previous check was last night around 9. I think they update at midnight, but I didn’t stay up for it
