PSU Patterno Fellows vs. Lehigh

I’m stuck between choosing PSU and Lehigh. PSU is considerably cheaper for me (oos but with half tuition scholarship) and with the Paterno Fellowship, I get to take honors courses even though I wasn’t accepted to Schreyers which would lead to Schreyers acceptance sophomore year provided I maintain a 3.4 GPA minimum. I’m going to study history and Poli-sci or econ. Lehigh’s main advantage is class sizes and proximity to home (NYC). Are honors courses at PSU overly time intensive to the point where you feel that you can’t get a good grade even though you stay up all night doing homework? I know that Lehigh grads generally have high starting salaries for their first jobs. I plan on working for a year or two to save up for grad school. Would Schreyers give me an edge in job markets over someone from a prestige private university with the same GPA? I feel comfortable on both campuses. Lehigh has less to do but NYC and Philly are much closer. PSU has a real college town and a ton of clubs so plenty to do, but super isolated. (Some people complained about PSU’s campus to me. I actually really liked it. Reminds me a bit of Brown university with older buildings mixed in with new ones, but it’s more spaced out which is nice). Any advice?
