PTE for Theatre or Film

Anyone know how to get a PTE# for a Theatre or Film Department class when you’re not a major of those departments. Not sure why these classes on Ursa enrollment always say ‘0’ people have enrolled. That cannot be the case. Maybe theatre and film majors enroll in these department’s classes some other way than thru Ursa?

It depends on the course. Freshmen theater majors are enrolled by their counselor for all fall quarter courses. That typically happens in August. So, it would make sense that the course still has enrollment at 0. Some “courses” are productions/shows, and those typically have auditions during the first week of the quarter. There are some theater courses that are open to non-majors, and a PTE number would most likely be available to a non-major if the course is not full. The professor can give a PTE number. What is the specific course that you are looking at?

the classes that I would want the PTE# for are -

Film and TV- M177 - Film and TV Acting Workshop

Theatre 27 - Vaudeville
Theatre 35A- Singing for Musical Theatre
Theatre 50 - Theatre Productioon
Theatre 121 - Acting Workshop

I have already taken Theatre 20- Fundamentals of Acting
