For those of you who already took this class, how difficult is it to get a 2 out of 2 in homework. I heard in lecture that you need to go above and beyond the questions but I looked at the questions and it seems pretty simple.
I mean if you answer the question without BS and its the correct length could you get a 2 easily?

2 is kinda hard. I would pretty much always go “above and beyond” and I ended up with maybe five 2’s.

What exactly do you mean by above and beyond? Like bringing up points that aren’t asked?

Tie it to outside readings and your own experiences and write more than is expected.

AAAAh! I can’t even get into the course and they said my chances are slim since I am a freshman
Everybody on here says that they accept everyone off the waitlist though…

If you can get into a section, you are guaranteed admission into the course. If you are not in a section, then you’ll have to hope space opens up for you.

when do we find out if we get in a section? right after i turned in my concern form that girl said the Th 1-2 slot was available too-so i didnt get to fill that on mine and now im worried i wont get into one :/

so the people who are enrolled are also already in a section then? ugh, if i dont get into this class as a third year ill be pretty frickin ****ed!

this year is disorganized though. usually they already have the sections set up prior to the beginning of class. then what aureateagle says is true (wl in a discussion = getting in). i’ve taken and dropped this class twice, but this year i’m finally taking it. haha Just go to a discussion section and see what’s up.
What I’m thinking is that priority will go to people enrolled. If you happen to go to a section where there’s not that many people, then you’re probably in unless other enrolled people switch in.
What section are you looking at Waiting? Let’s take a class together. We could take a day trip to Santa Barbara, hit up some charming shops, buy some ANTIQUESSSS
