Public Administration: Brown University MPA or SDA Bocconi (Italy) MSc?

Hello everyone!

My name is Giosuè and I am an Italian student living in Rhode Island and I’ve been accepted into Brown University’s MPA programme as well as SDA Bocconi’s Public Administration programme and I’m having trouble deciding which one to choose.

Brown is offering some funding, but the cost of the one-year programme will still be more than 40,000 USD by the looks of it, and Bocconi is 24,000 for the two years not counting any financial aide they may offer.

Any opinions?

Bocconi is well regarded and if you are planning to seek employment in Italy, it is probably the better choice. If you want to seek work in the U.S. there might (not necessarily) be an advantage to Brown, however, I would go for the lower cost option personally.
