Public health law, learning foreign languages, and work experience

<p>I have three questions:</p>

<li><p>What do public health lawyers do and do they do the same as global health lawyers?</p></li>
<li><p>How beneficial would it be (in the law field) to learn a foreign language? I speak Korean right now and I took French for a couple years throughout high school. I’m considering taking it up again this following year. </p></li>
<li><p>What type of work experience are law schools looking for? Would it be irrelevant to list that I wrote for the school newspaper, was the news editor, and interned at a magazine?</p></li>

<p>Working as a public health lawyer means your clients are public medical providers. Your expertise would be about the laws governing those clients. I have never heard of a global health lawyer.</p>

<p>To the extent your work experience enhanced your ability to write, that experience would be viewed favorably by Law school admissions officers.</p>
