"Public Relations" Is better the M.A. at USC or the M.S. at NYU?

And also… Could you help me figure out if tuition and fees refer to one year (two semesters) or two years (throughout the period of the master)??

Thank you all!! :D

giorgio90, when I think of NYU, I think of it as a Eastern version of USC. Since I am from California (!) I would go to USC. USC is ranked decently high in Public Relations. It depends on where you want to find a job and live after you get your masters. Usually jobs follow around the same area you go to grad school.

Thanks Athene! Do you attend PR at USC? And, are you European?!
Bye:)

Giorgio,
Public relations is a major in the highly respected Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism. The Annenberg family and foundation have been strong benefactors of the school. Annenberg in recent years has given over $200,000,000 in support.

In October Wallis Annenberg pledged an additional $50,000,000 to build a new state of the art complex for the school. To add to that $5,000,000 was pledged for Annenberg Scholarships.

Read about some of the famous professors who are on the faculty. Also, Los Angeles is a huge media and entertainment center as is NYC. Opportunities for internships are many.

Overall USC is ranked higher than NYU, is more selective and has a better faculty student ratio. USC also has a true college campus.

Much of your decision may be determined by location. New York City and Los Angeles are very different.
