Public Speaking Course?

I tend to stutter when I talk. The only exception may be if I were “trash-talking.” And even then I stutter and my mind goes blank.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a public speaking course at Berkeley? I tried searching the Berkeley website for courses, but I didn’t find anything except for tips on public speaking. I haven’t searched the online catalog, but can anyone suggest anything before I do?

Thanks

The two public speaking courses at Berkeley are College Writing 10A and Rhetoric 30.

a course does not provide the setting that will teach you to better your public speaking skills. what you need is practice, and being a CalSO counselor will do the trick.

by the end of the summer, all my fears of speaking in front of groups were gone. though i’ll always be a bit anxious before speaking in groups, it doesn’t scare me as it did before the calso experience.
