Publication question- conference proceedings

Hi all,

I have a 2nd author ASME Conference Proceedings-- my prof gave a talk in the conference and it is one of the papers in here

http://scitation.aip.org/dbt/dbt.jsp?KEY=ASMECP&Volume=2009&Issue=43857#MAJOR1

Can I list it under my list of publications?

Would this help my application?

Is this a good paper for an engineer?

Many thanks…

Absolutely.
Yes.
Don’t know.

It is a published article and admission committees will decide how much weight they want to assign it as compared to normal publications or review articles. It certainly would be better to list it on your application than to not list it. Ask your labmates if this is a good paper for an engineer, they will be the best resource.
