Published article in Chinese newspaper...

I applied for Annenberg Communications. One of my advantage is that i’m trilingual and i’ve published several articles in Chinese Yangtze Newspaper. (national newspaper)

Do you guys think I can possibly mail a copy of one of my articles to USC? I conducted a survey of 500 Chinese high school students and compared their cultural habbits to American teenagers’. I’ve also discussed the differences between applying to a college in China and applying to a college in America, along with the cultural shock I’ve experienced when I first immigrated to the U.S.

The only thing holding me back is that the article is all in Chinese…

Also, I’m not sure if it’s too late to send in more stuff…

If you applied for the scholarship deadline, it probablly is too late…but if you applied for the January 10th deadline your most likely ok.

I know because I was calling to ask about if they would recieve my January SAT scores in time, they said probablly not if I applied for scholarship…luckily I didn’t

I would send it in…with a note explaining what it is, an article you wrote for a major national newspaper. If you have an english translation, that would be good, though I guess it’s not strictly necessary.
